Drain cleaning for co-op and condo buildings
Co-op and condo buildings share kitchen and bathroom stacks across many apartments, so one line's grease becomes the lowest unit's backup. We jet stacks and mains, camera them before and after, and give the board footage and a written summary.

Why co-op stacks back up
Prewar and postwar co-ops connect a column of kitchens to one stack. Every apartment’s grease ends up in the same pipe. Older cast iron has rough interior walls that catch grease, and the line narrows year by year. The backup lands in the lowest apartment on the line, often after a holiday or a big weekend.
What we do for buildings
- Coordinate with the managing agent and super on access, notices and the freight elevator.
- Camera the stack or main to see where the buildup is.
- Jet the line from the best access point.
- Camera again and flow-test from several floors.
- Report to the board: footage, findings and a recommended schedule.

For shareholders and owners
If your own sink or tub is clogged and it’s only your fixture, we can clear it directly starting at $325. If water is coming up from someone else’s use, that’s the stack: tell your super, and we’ll work with the building.
Where we work
What we don't do. We clear, clean and inspect drains and sewer lines. If the camera shows a cracked, collapsed or separated line, you get the footage and a referral to an NYC master plumber for the fix. Why we work this way
Common questions
Who pays when the stack backs up into my apartment?
Stacks are usually part of the building, so the board or management arranges and pays for clearing. Your proprietary lease or condo bylaws set the details. Report it to the super first.
Can an individual shareholder hire you?
For a drain inside your apartment, yes. For the stack or main, we work through the building, since access and payment run through management.
What does the board get?
Before and after camera footage of the lines we serviced, a written summary of what we found and a recommended cleaning schedule.
Can you work around the building's rules?
Yes. We follow the building's work hours, freight elevator schedule and any other rules set by management.
Need a drain cleared?
Calls are answered 24 hours a day. A technician looks at the job and confirms your price on site before any work starts.
