Restaurant drain cleaning and grease line jetting

Restaurant kitchen lines fill with grease and food solids faster than any other drain. We jet grease lines and floor drains after close, camera them before and after, and set a schedule so they don't back up during service. Starting at $1,200.

Signs your kitchen lines need jetting

  • Floor drains slow or holding water at the end of the night.
  • The prep or dish sink drains slowly.
  • Grease odor from the floor drains.
  • Backups during the busiest service of the week.
  • The last snaking only lasted a few weeks.

How we service restaurant lines

  1. Schedule after close so there’s no impact on service.
  2. Camera the line to see how heavy the grease is.
  3. Jet the grease line and floor drains with a nozzle that scrubs the full pipe wall.
  4. Camera again so you see the clean line.
  5. Set a schedule and send the footage for your records.

Keep the kitchen flowing between visits

  • Scrape plates into the trash before washing.
  • Keep strainers on every floor drain and sink.
  • Never pour fryer oil or grease down a drain.
  • Make sure the grease trap is pumped on schedule by your hauler.

Jetting a flooded floor drain The jet nozzle goes in while the floor is still under water, and the level drops as the line opens.
Feeding the cable Feeding the sewer cable through a commercial floor drain.
Cabling from the floor drain Running the cable from a basement floor drain toward the street.
Kitchen sink line Cabling a kitchen line from under the cabinet, with drop cloths down.

What we don't do. We clear, clean and inspect drains and sewer lines. If the camera shows a cracked, collapsed or separated line, you get the footage and a referral to an NYC master plumber for the fix. Why we work this way

Common questions

How often should a restaurant jet its lines?

Busy kitchens with fryers often need it every three to six months. After the first jetting, the camera shows how fast grease builds up, and we set the schedule from that.

Can you come during service if we're backed up?

Yes, for emergencies, 24/7. We'll work around the line as much as possible. Scheduled jetting is done after close.

Do you pump grease traps?

No. Grease trap pumping is done by grease hauling companies. We clear and jet the grease lines and floor drains so the trap and the lines both flow.

Do you provide documentation?

Yes. Every jetting comes with camera footage and a written summary you can keep with your maintenance records.
